GO GREEN AND GET GREEN REWARDS!
“Go Green” in 2008 and recycle your Christmas tree in your green bin at home or recycle your tree at a City of Los Angeles Christmas tree drop-off site the weekend of January 5 and 6 between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As a new convenience, you may now also drop-off your excess gift wrapping and holiday packaging too! As an extra reward for recycling your tree, select drop-off sites will have free 1-gallon trees and compact fluorescent lights to giveaway, while supplies last. Start the year out right, check out the web flyer with location maps or call 3-1-1 for the tree drop-off location nearest you. Make a New Year’s resolution to Love L.A. and keep it clean!
